The Bistro

The Bistro is a youth leadership development program for high school and college age youth, providing them hands on community service experience, leadership and enterpreneurial education, and college scholarship opportunities including the Daniels Fund Scholarship and our own Bistro Scholarship.  The Bistro youth Board meets weekly to learn new skills and plan community activities such a the annual Mesa County Prom Dress Drive. These activities average serving over 400 Mesa County youth each year.  The Bistro Board youth come from high schools and colleges across the valley. A maximum of 12 students per year are allowed to serve on the board. These are chosen through an annual recruitment and interview process which takes place in the the early Fall. Through effort, enthusiasm and dedication, The Bistro provides unique leadership education and community leadership experience and helps bridge the gap between high school and college for our youth.

The Bistro program is recognized and supported by many presitigious institutions including the Daniels Fund, El Pomar Foundation, Anschutz Family Foundation, the Adolph Coors Foundation, and the United Way of Mesa County.
